Cassí Copenhagen is inspired by the French city of Cassis and the Danish capital Copenhagen. The two vastly different cities create the contrasts in Cassí Copenhagen's jewelery universe created by Freja Stuhr Feddersen.

When did you start making jewelry?

I've been making jewelry for as long as I can remember. When I was  four to five years old  my grandmother and I always waited for my little sister to sleep for dinner so we could take the pearls and jewelry materials out and sit and fiddle with them without any interruption. Since then, I have been making many different pieces of jewelry for many years, but only in 2018 did I start making  more seriously out of my jewelry by experimenting with higher quality materials and new techniques.

How do you want  categorize your jewelry?

It is a question that I have been thinking about for a long time and I have often asked myself what style I want to impose on my jewelry. However, I have come to the point where I think that I do not really want to impose any style on my jewelry. They must be allowed to unfold and develop in all sorts of different directions until one day I find one word that describes them.  I think there is something for every taste and for every occasion and this diversity in my jewelry is also a trait that I really appreciate.

What qualities do you focus on the most when making your jewelry?

It is very important to me that all my jewelry is handmade and thus that all the jewelry is different. There are no two of the same kind and they are all unique. In addition, I focus a lot on the right choice of material which for me is only S925 sterling silver or gold-plated S925 sterling silver.
